Our People

Founder and Curator

Kate White holds a Bachelors degree in Business Communications from QUT, and worked in sales, recruitment and HR consulting before starting a family in 2000. While she felt extraordinarily fortunate to be able to stay at home with her children, the desire to engage her brain was ever present. With an interest in the human condition, and in helping others, she enrolled in the Graduate Diploma in Psychology at Sydney University, where she learnt that connecting with others, giving back to the community, and constantly learning are key elements of a happy life. Hence Conversely was born.

Communications Director

Emily Kucukalic is the Managing Director of the Brand New You Group, a marketing and branding consultancy firm she founded in 2009. BNY’s individual and corporate clients are a range of highly skilled professionals from diverse backgrounds including some of Australia’s largest companies.

Emily joined AGL after three years at EDS Asia Pacific as Marketing and Communications Director where her team spanned the region including China, India and Japan.
An Ernst & Young Entrepreneur prize winner and finalist in the 2000 Telstra Business Woman of the Year Award, Emily holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Honours in Marketing from the University of Western Australia. Emily has been a board member of Plaut Australia Pty Ltd, a private IT services firm. Emily is currently a member of NSW Premier’s Register for Boards and Committees.

Southern Highlands

Angela Greig holds a Bachelor degree in Business from the Australian Catholic University. Before starting a family with her husband Mark in 2003, Angela worked and studied both here and abroad in Public Relations, Tourism and Hospitality. Always eager to learn and understand more about the world we live in, Angela attended a Conversely session in Sydney in early 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a format she believed would be of great interest to the Southern Highlands community, knowing how important it is we keep talking to one another, learning from each other and sharing ideas.

Michaela Bolzan has a BA Hons (Drama) from the University of Newcastle and works as a producer, director and writer across a range of mediums from theatre to corporate communications. Five years ago, Michaela moved to the Highlands and established the Southern Highlands Writers’ Festival which is held annually each July in Bowral.
