We all have hormones – males and female. They begin changing at puberty and continue to change throughout our lives and can often be the source of imbalance and poor health.
Jill Keyte, co-author of The Happy Hormone Cookbook with Nutritionist and former chef, Emma Ellice-Flint, has had personal experience of a change in hormones and health.
A brush with early breast cancer, made her look at her lifestyle and levels of stress. She decided to review how she was living daily – workload, exercise, relationships and time out. Tweaking these and following an eating plan to keep her hormones happy naturally has enabled Jill to return to full health.
Jill has been interested in health and what makes us healthy all her adult life. During her rehabilitation she realised that modern ways of eating – processed and packaged foods, fast foods and low fat/high sugar foods – were contributing to making us sick as a nation.
She is a strong believer that a balanced lifestyle – which is possible – as well as what we eat, can keep us well. Good healthy food, exercise and mindfulness are central to her life.
Join us to hear why Jill believes keeping our hormones happy will make a big difference to women of all ages, men and families, contributing to making us healthier as a nation.
